Branded For Life A comedy show about what we buy, what we sell, and what we want
Boom Chicago’s New Show Premieres April 10!
With sharp comedy and quick thinking, Boom Chicago’s new show focuses on the choices we make and why. These decisions happen not just in the store, but everywhere in our lives. Why do we love some things and mock others? When you’re talking about products, or even people, it’s all about the brand, baby. Branded For Life also shines a light on those who shape our opinions. Mad Men, marketers and spin doctors work behind the scenes to pull our strings and “engage” us.
The show begins with BrandLab, the creative start of the evening, which happens during dinner and drinks. Our marketing scientists welcome you and do an intake interview. How involved to do you want to get? Would you like to help us co-create the show? Do as much (or as little) as you want. Our multi-media scientists can “rebrand” you or your friend in your group in an extreme marketing makeover. We will write, shoot and edit a video “commercial” for the new you to download after the show.
After BrandLab comes the main event, our multimedia improv and sketch comedy show. Incorporating what’s going on in the theater and what’s going on in the world, Branded For Life, is unique in the world. Together our actors, musicians, and video technicians will make you laugh and look differently at the products you use and the things you crave. You will leave the show branded for life!

Branded for Life Talk Show: Once a month artistic director Pep Rosenfeld hosts a the talk show with a well known Brand expert from 17:30 till 18:15 in the theater. Known from Picnic, TEDx and NEXT, Rosenfeld is an excellent interviewer who keeps things funny but substantive. BrandLab Upstairs: Before the show in the Chicago Social Club lounge, we do private, tailored sessions where a client’s brand is central. Branded for Life Industry Roast: After all the awards and praise the ad industry gives itself, it is time for a night to poke fun at the advertising world.
